Allan Brooks (1869–1946) was a British-born Canadian ornithologist and artist known for his detailed bird illustrations. After moving to British Columbia in 1905, he created a bird sanctuary on his property, attracting over 34 species. His work was featured in publications like National Geographic and the Audubon Society. Today, his legacy is celebrated at the Allan Brooks Nature Centre in Vernon, BC.
